The new daily driver! (Yes, I still have the Suburban)
Picked it up at 124k miles with no start issue for $1700.
PO had fired parts canon with new fuel filter, fuel pump, plugs, wires, cap, battery, etc.
It had the barn doors I wanted, in the color I wanted, and the GMT800 chrome Escalade wheels I wanted.
After borrowing the known working spider injection and fuel pump relay from the Suburban, a simple key relearn and a new O2 sensor were all that was needed to get it running and road worthy.
During it's downtime, I took the liberty of installing a straight bumper bracket, doing a Bixenon projector retrofit (Acme Super, Morimoto 35w, Philips 9011 aux high) and throwing on a set of 255/75R17 BFG MTs because life is too short for boring tires.
I replaced the busted factory fogs with aftermarket, but they were complete garbage so I threw my PIAA 520 fogs on.
Then I found a deal too good to pass up on 285/70R17 BFG ATs (~$270 off retail with free shipping)
So here it sits now. I'll be replacing the aftermarket fogs with Ford Fusion fogs and 3000k HIDs when I can find some time to build brackets for them so the PIAAs can be moved back to the Suburban.
