Hey,
Driving in my driveway, and vehicle shuts down completely. Dash lights on, dash clock reset. No power steering of course and scared a little of it happening again at greater speed.

Battery is optima red top 2yrs old. The terminals are very tight - good connection. Where should I start looking?

Would a bad cell in the battery do this? Please help, it's my daily driver.

I assume fuel is good , thats not shutting off etc

I had a similar issue 2 or 3 years ago it was a bad ground wire and it took out my ECM

if all terminals are good i would look at the ECM, its wire plugs etc

just an idea

I've also learned recently what happens when the temperature sensor connector falls off.  It's a violent stall.

Not saying that's the issue, but it's a quick thing to check.
