I would highly recommend having your Vin decoded at the dealer for RPO codes. I've seen several times GM messing up RPO codes, not putting in RPO sheets, or putting in sheets missing information. Also, GM has chosen to put them in bad areas, glove box doors on trucks, spaRe tire covers on cars. A more permanent area would make much more sense.

My 1999 Burb is a good example of confused RPO data and parts counter guys because it the database ends with 1998 and continues at 2000 for the newer series Burb however some of the parts can be found in the 2000 and newer GMT400 govt contract K 3500 vehicle parts books.

Forgot, most if not all aftermarket parts stop at 1998 for GMT400.
