Looking for some pictures of how everyone has their hi-Lift jacks mounted. Be it in the box, roof, cargo area, wherever! Need some ideas on best way to mount mine up in the 92.

I just seen a toyota in burlington that had his mounted in the truck bed mighty close to the rear window, the bad part I thought that most of the jack was above the roofline

here is a site I had saved that has various mounts:     http://www.desertrat...oducts/?ID=6451  &    http://www.desertrat...gories/?id=2262

never done any business with them so caveat emptor

I think I will copy that design, should be very simple to make and attach anywhere in the box.

I owe you a photo!

i mounted my hi lift directly to the bed of my roof rack using grade 8 bolts and a big wing nut.

When it's light out in the morning and assuming I remember, I'll take a photo and show you.

Jesse - what are the name of the mounts use used for the shovel?  They look like a very simple latch system...

Very clever idea.  Impressive weight capacity of 25lbs which I would imagine would easily hold a shovel even with some wind against it.

Ended up going very simple, 1/2" bolt welded on some 2x4 square tubing.

Great idea Scott....that hi-lift isn't going anywhere fast.

One perk of living up by you is that I'm assuming theft isn't much of an issue?

Simple works!

Theft must be something I really take for granted because the thought of someone stealing the old dirty hi-lift never crossed my mind. Most of the time the vechicles stay unlocked and sometimes the keys in them when in the yard at home

I did the same thing with my hi lift. But I dont have wheel wells in my bed. I just used two big ubolts, with a small hole in the end and put a tiny lock on it. I got the hi lift for free, so it wont be too much of a disappointment if it gets taken. I will try to find some pics of how I mounted mine as well.
